The next assignment is about creating a poster that raises awareness for a particular cause.
Therefore, the social cause which i have chosen is protecting flowers.
So some may ask, why flowers? Why not orphaned kids or starving Africans? Frankly, i don't have the level of empathy to see their situation. I have never been to a Third World Country and therefore i have never experienced their sufferings, and i will not be a hypocrite and based on work on something i do not understand.
So i decided on doing something which i really like. I like doing photography and so, some of the images of flowers in the posters were taken by myself.
The image is done with a combination of photoshop and illustrator. The tedious part was collecting all the images of flowers, which involved almost 7 hours of work. The challenging part was converting the world so that it looks it is made of flowers. It was done with layering and layering of the world. Thank you Joyce for your incredible advices.
However, a lot of respondents seem to not understand the underlying social cause and they find that the fonts could have been better. Will improve on it. I will stick to this idea and make it work.
